RPTS 426 - Tourism Impacts (Fall 2017)

Find Text @ TAMU

In the databases you should see "Find Text @ TAMU" buttons.  You can use this to see if we have the full-text of the article available electronically. If we don't it will provide a link to request the article through Get It For Me, our interlibrary loan service.

Find Articles Using Library Databases and Journals

Whenever you conduct a literature search, it's a good idea to try your search in several databases.  Listed here are some good, broad databases for getting started in recreation, parks, and tourism sciences searching. Below that are more databases that may be of particular interest to specific research areas within the field. You can also search for other subject-specific databases that you have access to through the Libraries.

This is a sampling of journals available to TAMU students. To find other journals available through the Texas A&M University Libraries, you can:

  • search the catalog for the journal title, or
  • use the e-journal tool to find journals for which we have electronic access (click on the e-journals button on the library home page)

To find articles rather than journals, use the suggested databases listed on the other tab in this guide.
