PubMed vs. Ovid

The data in the MEDLINE database can be accessed through a number of providers.  PubMed and Ovid are the premier providers.  There are few differences between the sources; the primary difference is the interface.   

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a popular resource among students and faculty, but users should beware of Google Scholar limitations.  

Research Databases

The following databases are recommended for research on nutrition topics.  Keep in mind, no single database includes all journal articles, reports, conference proceedings, book chapters, etc. Depending on your topic, you may need to use several databases to locate the information you need.
