The University Writing Center supports writing and public speaking for graduate and undergraduate students across the university, with particular emphasis on supporting W and C courses. From one-on-one consultations to hundreds of handouts, students can fill all their writing and communication needs at the University Writing Center.
Managing Your Sources & Citing Your Work
The University provides students with citation tools, EndNote and RefWorks. These tools let you collect and organize your sources, and create in-text citations and reference lists. EndNote is desktop software provided through the University software store. RefWorks is a Web-based tool provided through a University Libraries subscription.
A student of integrity conducts and reports research ethically and honestly. Review the Academic Integrity & Plagiarism Tutorial to understand information ethics, which includes academic integrity, plagiarism, and related issues.
TurnItIn is a web-based plagiarism prevention application that can find and highlight matching or unoriginal text in a written assignment. Instructors create Turnitin assignments in their eCampus course, or through the Turnitin site.
