Media Services, located on the 1st floor of Evans Annex, is home to the Libraries' largest collection of movies, music, and audiovisual equipment for checkout. Our mission is to support the instructional and research needs of Texas A&M faculty, staff, and students by collecting, maintaining and providing access to relevant media materials across the academic disciplines.

We have study rooms available for online reservation by individuals for quiet study and groups for collaboration and group learning. Many of the rooms are equipped with an OAL computer and/or a collaboration station.

Want the library to own a book or material? Ask us to buy it. The requester will be notified if the library can/can not make the purchase. The student, staff, or faculty member who requests the item will also be the first one to check it out.

The Studio is the Libraries newly re-imagined area that provides specialized services and tools for creating and editing graphics, video, audio, and multimedia projects. Our goal is to provide the Texas A&M University community with multimedia tools, expert assistance, and educational programming to support the creation of media-enriched instructional projects.

Do you need to create a podcast, a quick video, or take a few photographs for a class project? The podcast room is a quiet studio space with all of the equipment needed to create your own professional quality projects.

The Department of Performance Studies is housed in the Texas A&M Liberal Arts and Humanities (LAAH) Building. Opened in 2013, the facility offers a state-of-the-art black box theater, recording studio, theater shops, rehearsal spaces, and a courtyard performance space–all of which give students extraordinary opportunities to develop their work as creative artists and scholars. LAAH is open from 6:30am to 10pm, Monday through Friday.
