Due to logistical and staffing issues, the TAMUQ library will no longer be able to borrow physical books from main campus library or other libraries in the United States. Effective immediately we will no longer have access to the Get It For Me service for physical items.
This will not affect access to electronic items. You will still be able to request and receive articles and other electronic files through Get It For Me.
Get It For Me (GIFM)
Get It For Me is a document delivery service, which supplies print books or electronic copies of journal articles or book chapters, free of charge to all students, staff and faculty. However we are unable to send physical materials to our Qatar campus. Digital versions of articles, book chapters, and some ebooks can be sent to our Qatar students and faculty. To request materials, please use the "Get it for me" online form >>.
Purchase Request
If there is a resource that you believe should be added to our collection, please fill out our Purchase Request Form and we will consider the request based on our budget and collection policies. You will be contacted with our purchase decision.
Please Note: We are unable to send physical items to our Qatar students and faculty, but we are able to purchase online resources such as ebooks.
