The American Petroleum Institute (API) collection is on the ASTM Compass platform. In order to use this collection:
- Accept the ASTM License Agreement
- On the home page of ASTM Compass, click on the API link
- type in the standard #, for example: API RP 17P
- to download, click on the yellow box "Download PDF"
- There is a known access issue for off-campus users. We are waiting on a fix from ASTM.

- Try other browsers vs.Chrome
- Otherwise, use this database on campus
