COVIDENCE User Guide

Howdy!

The purpose of this guide is to:

  • Provide a broad overview of the Covidence software and how to use it to improve the workflow of review projects
  • Assist with setting up your TAMU Covidence account
  • Explain the workflow within Covidence
  • Offer direction on where to get help

What is Covidence?

Covidence is a web-based program that helps streamline the workflow of evidence review synthesis projects. Whether you are conducting a systematic review, a scoping review, meta-analysis, or any other type of review project, Covidence can guide you through. Beginning at importing your references and concluding at data extraction, the process is easy to follow and there is help at every step of the way.

By partnering with organizations like the Cochrane Collaboration, Covidence supports reviews that adhere to the latest standards. Trusted by hundreds of top research institutions, including Texas A&M University, Covidence helps drive impactful, high-quality publications.

Collaboration

One of the best features of Covidence is that you can work with anyone around the world. As an A&M user, once your account is set up, you can invite researchers from anywhere and any institution to be a part of your review project,. They can access the project at any time, as long as there is an internet connection, and everyone can work at their own convenience.
