Texas A&M Logos: 

• Logos: Logo downloads are available to Texas A&M faculty and staff for use in marketing and informational material. Others wishing to use Texas A&M marks must seek approval from the Office of Business Development. 

The following websites are free to create graphics and visualize data. 

• Dygraphs: A fast, flexible open source JavaScript charting library that can handle huge data sets.
• Piktochart: Create your own infographics based on your data.
• Cacoo: Drawing tool that allows you to create a variety of diagrams such as site map, flowchart, mind map, wire frame, UML diagram and network diagram.

• InkScape: A great tool for simple and efficient ways to create vector designs or scientific illustrations. 

The following websites contain images that are free and legal to use: 

• Creative Commons 

• Pixabay 

• StockSnap 

• Unsplash 

• Wikimedia Commons 

Images should have a resolution of 300 dpi for printing. 

Microsoft PowerPoint

• Can be used to create scientific posters
• Design an entire poster on a single presentation slide
• Offers a variety of design templates and tools   
• Microsoft PowerPoint tools are free with a TAMU email address

Google Slides 

• Ability to create scientific posters
• Free to use with the creation of a Gmail account

Canva 

• Web-based graphic design platform 
• Offers a variety of templates and tools for creating posters and other visual media
• User-friendly and requires no design experience
• Free personal account (or pay for upgraded features
