Texas A&M AgriLife Research (formally known as Texas Agricultural Experiment Station) has a history of conducting research that has served rural and urban Texans for the past 125 years. Today employees of AgriLife Research conduct research statewide that strives to improve the quality, safety, and profitability of our food, feed, and fiber system. In collaboration with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and member universities of the Texas A&M University System, AgriLife Research strives to fulfill the land grant mission of research, extension, teaching, and service in Agriculture, Life Sciences, and Natural Resources.

The Texas Agricultural Experiment Station (TAES) began publishing this series of bulletins in 1888. The collection is being digitized and made available online in Oak Trust by the Texas A&M University Libraries for document preservation and historical purposes. Funds for the digitization project have been supplied, in part, by the USDA National Agricultural Library through a Specific Cooperative Agreement. Bulletins will be added to this site as digitization progresses. The Texas AgriLife Extension Service publishes research‑based information to help people improve their lives, businesses and communities. Most publications are available as pdf documents and can be viewed online at the Texas AgriLife Extension Bookstore (https://agrilifelearn.tamu.edu/s/). Print copies of many publications also are available and can be ordered from the Bookstore.
