What tools are available?

There are several citation tools available to assist you wit hthe organization, management , and format of your citations. Some of the more popular ones include RefWorks. EndNote, Zotero and Mendeley. The library offers training and assistance with RefWorks and EndNote.

How you can access citation tools.

The citation tools supported by the library through instruction can be found and accessed using the customized library guides. The guides are located at:

RefWorks

BrowZine is an app for mobile devices with a web interface that allows you to access and browse e-journals from different publishers in one simple interface. With BrowZine, you can:

  • Read scholarly journals in a format that is optimized for tablets.
  • With my Bookshelf, users may easily follow titles of interest and be notified anytime a new article is published
  • Access journals from the web or on iOS and Android tables and smart phone.
  • User accounts are synchronized across webbed mobile services
  • Save articles for offline reading on mobile devices, integration with RefWorks, Zotero, Dropbox, or Mendeley.

How do I get BrowZine?

Use the following links or go to the Apple or App Store on your device. Select Texas A&M University as your library on the “Settings” page, and then enter in your NetID and password. This will allow you to browse through and read the full-text of a large portion of TAMU Libraries’ e-journals.
