United States Government Agency Requirements 

The United States government prioritizes public access to government information, including data produced in federally funded research. The 2013 Public Access to Federally Funded Research memo from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy directed all government agencies to develop for public access requirements for data produced in funded projects.
