Medical Sciences Library - Staff Profiles

Dani LaPreze, MLS, MS

Howdy! I am the Evidence Review and Synthesis Librarian for the Texas A&M Medical Sciences Library Review Service. I have a broad background in education, starting as a kindergarten teacher, working my way to Department Head Teacher where I lead a team international teachers in curriculum and project development. After completing my MLS, I made the move to higher education where I have acquired expertise in literature searching, developing and delivering synchronous and asynchronous lessons on conducting systematic literature searches, evidence-based practice, evidence synthesis, and data management best practices.

What I Can Do For You

  • Provide guidance on evidence synthesis projects, including systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and more
  • Help with conducting literature searches in biomedical databases and grey literature resources
  • Assist with project management and organization including using EndNote and Covidence
