Medical Sciences Library - Staff Profiles

Emme Lopez

I am the Assistant University Librarian for the Health Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Division within the University Libraries. I came to Texas A&M in March of 2023, and I'm so glad I did! I have worked in a variety of academic and corporate settings, which informs my approach to establishing and delivering library services. Getting the right information to learners, researchers, and practitioners to inform and support decision-making and practice is always my goal.

What I Can Do For You

In my role as Head of the Research & Education Department at the Medical Sciences Library, I focus on developing and maintaining services designed to support evidence-based practice instruction, research, and clinical practice.
